The COP(Control Panel, Control Panel) in the car is the Panel used
to select floors and perform other operations in the elevator. The
following are some precautions for touching the COP in the car:
1.Floor selection: on the COP in the car, there are usually floor
buttons for passengers to choose the target floor. Normally, the
button will have a touchable surface or indicator light showing the
currently selected floor.
2.Switch door: there are usually door and door buttons in the COP
for passengers to control the opening and closing of the elevator
door. These buttons usually have indicator lights showing the
status of the door.
3.Cancel operation: in case of emergency, passengers can use the
emergency stop button on the COP to stop the elevator operation
immediately. This button usually has eye-catching signs so that
passengers can find it quickly.
4.Emergency Call: some elevators also have emergency call buttons
on the COP for passengers to turn to the outside for help when
needed. After pressing this button, the elevator may automatically
contact the emergency rescue agency or the building management
center.
5.Touch interface: some modern elevator COP may also be equipped
with touch screen interface, through which passengers can perform
various operations, such as selecting floors, adjusting volume or
viewing other information.
